Private lessons take place in controlled range environments or other appropriate training venues depending on lesson objectives. All training emphasizes safety, responsibility, and realistic application.
Pricing & Logistics
Private Instruction Rate

$100 per hour
First-Time Students
If you have never trained with Evan before, your first private lesson will run approximately 90 minutes.
The rate remains $100, and the additional time is included to allow for proper introductions, safety review, assessment, and goal setting. Cash or venmo is accpeted. No personal checks.
Ammunition

Ammunition is the responsibility of the student

Ammo can be provided if coordinated in advance

Please contact IDS ahead of time if you need ammunition supplied
Firearm Rentals

Handgun or rifle rentals are available

Rental fees start at $17 per one-hour lesson

Availability must be coordinated ahead of time
Eye & Ear Protection

Eye and ear protection can be provided if coordinated in advance

If not arranged ahead of time, students are expected to arrive with their own eye and ear protection
Required Equipment & Safety Expectations
Students are expected to arrive at the range with:

Their own firearm in a safe condition

Unloaded and boxed, or
-
Safely holstered

Appropriate eye and ear protection (if not provided by IDS)
Safety is non-negotiable. All firearms and equipment must be serviceable and handled responsibly at all times.
